Planning a Food Drive
We are so glad that you are considering hosting a food drive on our behalf and we are here to support you every step of the way!
Step 1: Get Creative!
Figure out when and where you are going to host your food drive and how you are going to engage people! Check out the video below for some ideas! We also have third party event guidance and support available.
Step 2: Visit Our Facility!
Taking an informational tour of our facility can help inspire you and gives you the tools to raise awareness about what we do in our community! Unfortunately, due to these unique times we can not offer in person tours so we invite to visit us virtually!
Step 3: Register Your Food Drive
Registering your Food Drive with us by sending our Community Engagement Coordinator, Robyn McKibbon an email (Robyn@ftnd.ca) or giving her a call at 905-571-3863!
Step 4: Set Up
Once you have registered your food drive you will receive a social media toolkit to help get you started promoting your food drive, our current wish list and branded food bins (subject to availability).
